During the Feb. 13 San Carlos Unified School District Governing Board meeting, members considered approval of the superintendent's evaluation. An initial motion to approve failed 1-3: board member Dimitri Nzeukou (DM) voted yes; President Dr. Leon Ben, Katrina Talkalai and Aaron Miles voted no.
Board member Katrina Talkalai asked that the evaluation form include written comments from board members and a signature block for all members. She moved to table the item to the next meeting to allow insertion of comments and a space for signatures; Dmitri Nzeukou seconded the amended motion, and the board approved the motion 4-0. The meeting adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
The minutes record both the failed approval and the subsequent successful motion to table; no substantive change to the superintendent's evaluation content is recorded in the minutes at this meeting.
