Board member Dimitri Nzeukou asked how attendance changes in other districts operating a four-day schedule, and whether tutoring could be offered on Fridays for students who need extra help. Board member Katrina Talkalai pressed for clarity on curriculum alignment and how savings would be realized under a shorter week.
The minutes record discussion and a motion to approve selecting one of the proposed calendars was seconded, but the board deferred action pending more information. No formal calendar adoption occurred at the Feb. 13 meeting.
