Farmington trustees approve reimbursements from multiple reserve funds

Chairman James (Jimmy) Bourque opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Selectman’s Chamber and the Trustees accepted the April 23, 2026 meeting minutes. He said each reimbursement request was submitted with invoices and a Board of Selectmen meeting vote backing the requests. "The request was submitted properly with invoices and public meeting minutes vote by the BOS," Bourque said.
The Trustees approved the following reimbursements by 3-0 votes: reimbursement from the Health Reimbursement CRF (motion recorded as $4,885.43), a payment from the Landfill Closure CRF (motion recorded as $3,884.39), $47,500 from the Water Capital Reserve, $47,500 from the Sewer Capital Reserve (described in the minutes as the second half of a payment related to the water item), and $9,564 from the Town Levee Repair CRF. Each motion was moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes and carried without further discussion.
The minutes note a small inconsistency in the transcript text for two items: the Health Reimbursement request is listed once as $4,885.54 and appears in the motion as $4,885.43; the Landfill Closure request appears once as $3,844.39 and in the motion as $3,884.39. The Trustees' recorded votes (each 3-0) indicate approval of the motion amounts that appear in the meeting motions. The minutes state that all of the reimbursement motions derive from a Board of Selectmen meeting held May 4, 2026.
There was no public comment at the meeting. With no additional business, the Trustees adjourned at 6:11 p.m. Their next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026.
