The River Ridge Community Development District on Nov. 19, 2024, formally elected its officers for the coming term and administered the oath of office to three newly elected supervisors. Cleo Adams, the district’s notary and manager, administered the oath to Kurt Blumenthal (Seat 3), Terry Mountford (Seat 4) and Robert Twombly (Seat 5).
On a motion by Terry Mountford, Vice Chair, seconded by Kurt Blumenthal, Assistant Secretary, the board adopted Resolution 2025‑02 electing Bob Schultz as Chair, Mountford as Vice Chair and appointing Blumenthal, Twombly and Keith Merrill as Assistant Secretaries. The motion was adopted by voice vote with all in favor.
Mrs. Adams reminded the board of required ethics training and filing obligations, including Form 1 and the Sunshine Amendment guidance; the board added deadlines for the required four hours of ethics training for fiscal years 2024 and 2025 to the Key Activity Dates list. The board also reviewed routine financial housekeeping: Mrs. Adams presented the unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024, and noted the Series 2022A note will be closed and funds applied to prepay bond debt.
The board approved the Oct. 22, 2024 meeting minutes as amended. Kurt Blumenthal moved and Terry Mountford seconded the motion to approve the amended minutes; the motion carried with all in favor.
The board scheduled its next regular meeting for Dec. 10, 2024, at 1 p.m.
