Buford commission approves rezoning for Hudson Land Holdings with strict home-design conditions

Commissioners said the conditions were intended to protect neighborhood character by setting minimum design and size standards for the new residential development. The rezoning passed unanimously; the next procedural step noted in the meeting record is submission of the required house location plan with building permits for review and approval by the Planning Director.
The approval changes the parcel’s zoning designation; building permits, plan review and permit inspections remain subject to Buford’s zoning and development regulations.
