Supervisors approve appointments, ordinance and consent agenda, ratify bills totaling $1.93 million

The East Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a slate of routine motions and consent‑agenda items at its Aug. 14, 2024 meeting.
The board ratified appointments of Elizabeth Bolt to the Environmental Advisory Council (term through December 2027) and Robert Logan to the Planning Commission (term through August 2026). Counsel opened and the board approved Ordinance #362‑2024 regarding Use and Occupancy Certificate requirements. The board also approved a motion to advertise for heating and diesel oil bids.
A resolution to amend the township’s Official Sewage Facilities Plan related to the GVCC Master Plan (Phases 1 & 2) was approved. The consent agenda included ratification of bills for June and July totaling $1,934,330.15, acceptance of the Treasurer’s report, approval of ARRO’s proposal for stormwater management ordinance amendments (not to exceed $6,000), and authorization to sign DEP and PennDOT forms subject to developer agreements for biosolids application and HOP related to storm sewer and drainage on SR 29. The Board also approved the 2025 Minimum Municipal Obligations for the township pension plan in the combined amount of $1,302,713 (police, fire and non‑uniform personnel).
All motions on the consent agenda and the listed items were passed unanimously with no dissent recorded in the meeting transcript.
