Resident urges temporary speed bumps on Cromley Road; mayor seeks quick answer

The mayor committed to try to provide an answer by the next council meeting.
The exchange took place during the public comment period; no formal motion or funding decision for the speed bumps was recorded. Council later approved a Georgia Department of Transportation memorandum of agreement for a separate Cromley Road sidewalk enhancement project for which the city will provide a local match, indicating related corridor work is already planned.
The council did not set a formal timeline for installation during the meeting. Residents seeking a status update were directed to the mayor's office and the city's safety coordinator for follow-up.
