Mateja said permit applications for sports courts are being processed but have not yet been approved; he noted a 25‑foot separation requirement from surrounding properties and that courts cannot be located in a front yard under township regulations. Vice‑Chair Rich Orlow asked staff to provide the specific sport‑court requirements for his review.
The Board’s unanimous vote to not adopt Ordinance No. 363 was recorded at the reconvened meeting; no alternate parking restriction was adopted at the Sept. 11 session. Staff indicated further ordinance clarifications may be needed to address issues raised by the Golf View Lane matter before the Board considers new language.
