Ellenville board approves routine payments, park permits and schedules zoning public hearings

The Village of Ellenville Board of Trustees handled a set of routine administrative and financial items and scheduled public hearings on zoning changes.

Key actions approved in public session included opening a water utility capital account with an initial deposit of $5,000 to support a grant application for a second main water tank, authorizing consultant and software-service payments (including $6,000 to Bridget Spank Consulting Group for utility debt billing and $13,000 for annual accounting/support services), and approving the first installment payment of $27,817.59 for the Harris Well refurbishment project.

The board approved a request by the Ulster County Sheriff's 'care program' to host a youth-focused event on July 21 (4–7 p.m.), contingent on required insurance and a formal use form.
