Dr. Stephanie Davis opened nominations, nominating Diane M. Linderman for chair; Edwin S. Rosado seconded the nomination and the Commission elected Linderman. Davis then nominated Ceasor T. Johnson for vice chair; Rosado seconded and Johnson was elected. The Commission approved its draft agenda earlier in the meeting and opened a public comment period; no members of the public spoke.
The election took place at the start of the meeting and was conducted by nomination and voice vote. After the officer elections the Commission proceeded to routine business and agenda items for the session.
