Christopher Littlefield, listed in the minutes as town staff, told the board that March financials were signed and that the board had accepted administrative items from unfinished business. In new business Littlefield reported the results of the recent election and said the town has hired five new staff members.
During other business the board voted 3-0 to accept a $400 offer from resident Corey Swain for a utility trailer. The minutes record the sale as a standard surplus-property transaction; the motion and outcome were recorded but the mover and seconder were not specified in the minutes.
Selectman John Hikel asked about scheduling employee performance reviews; Littlefield said the town is behind on evaluations and that the new public works director has been directed to get employee reviews up to date. The minutes also record brief acknowledgements of a successful Town Meeting and thanks to Robin McNeil for providing a breakfast.
