Kennebunk boards approve 2026-27 revenues and raise Community Garden funding to $5,000

After the revenue vote, the Select Board voted to reconsider its Feb. 26 decision on the Community Garden Committee’s expenditures (the earlier vote had approved $3,000). Following reconsideration, the Select Board approved a new expenditure amount of $5,000. The motion to set the expenditure at $5,000 was made by Kortney Nedeau and seconded by Karen Plattes. The board recorded the tally as 4 in favor, 1 opposed, 1 absent and 1 abstention; William Ward was recorded as opposed, Leslie Trentalange abstained, and Kevin Therrien was absent.
The votes taken at the meeting were recorded alongside the motions: the Budget Board’s motion to approve revenues was moved by Thomas Wellman and seconded by Charles Auger; the Select Board’s motion to approve revenues was moved by Lisa Pratt and seconded by Karen Plattes.
