Spring Hill BOMA approves slate of resolutions, ordinance first reading and a parks appointment

The City of Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously approved a package of consent items and individual resolutions Feb. 17, adopted a legislative agenda, approved funding for sewer inspections and moved an amendment to sewer-capacity rules to first reading; Mary Anne LaPenta was appointed to the Parks Commission.
The City of Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) approved a package of consent items and several individual resolutions during its Feb. 17 meeting, moving multiple infrastructure and administrative items forward unanimously.
Vice Mayor Trent Linville moved the principal motions and Alderman Brent Murray seconded. Among the items approved were Resolution 26-45 recognizing National FFA Week at Battle Creek High School and Resolution 26-46 commending The Well Outreach on its 20th anniversary. BOMA also approved Change Order No. 3 with Jarrett Builders for stormwater capital projects (Res. 26-47); acceptance of offered road rights-of-way and public improvements for Barton Hills, Phase 1A (Res. 26-48); the purchase award for an Auto Crane Titan service vehicle (Res. 26-49); and the construction contract for Pickett’s Ridge Sewer Lift Station Improvements (Res. 26-50). BOMA authorized a Master Services Agreement with SSR (Smith Seckman Reid, Inc.) under Resolution 26-51.
The board adopted its 2026 Legislative Agenda for the Tennessee General Assembly (Res. 26-54). BOMA also approved Resolution 26-53, calling on the Williamson County Commission to rescind Resolution 2-26-20 and adhere to the Williamson County Interlocal Agreement Growth Plan; Vice Mayor Linville encouraged continued collaboration with the county on growth planning.
BOMA authorized expenditure for CCTV inspection services to support the sewer I&I program under Resolution 26-55 and approved first reading of Ordinance 26-01, an amendment to Ordinance 25-29 Section 2(F) concerning the Sewer Capacity Reserve; staff recommended the allocation during discussion. The ordinance will return to BOMA for a subsequent reading per the city’s charter process.
On appointments, Mayor Matt Fitterer nominated the four candidates included in the meeting packet and the board unanimously appointed Mary Anne LaPenta to the Parks and Recreation Commission under Resolution 26-52.
All motions recorded in the meeting minutes passed unanimously. Several staff members provided brief presentations or clarifications when asked by aldermen; no item was tabled or defeated. BOMA adjourned at 8:37 p.m.
