The Mound House Advisory Board held its regular meeting on Jan. 6, 2026 at the Mound House Community Center. Chairman John Diffenbaugh called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and roll call recorded members Lori Trowbridge and Jeff Trowbridge as present; Commissioner John Cassinelli and members of the public also attended.
During Agenda item 2, the board completed officer elections. Lori Trowbridge nominated John Diffenbaugh for chair (seconded by Jeff Trowbridge); John Diffenbaugh nominated Jeff Trowbridge for vice chair (seconded by Lori Trowbridge); and John Diffenbaugh nominated Lori Trowbridge for secretary (seconded by Jeff Trowbridge). Chairman Diffenbaugh moved to approve all three nominations collectively and Jeff Trowbridge seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The meeting record lists the result as a single collective approval rather than separate roll-call votes for each office.
The board also reviewed and adopted the meeting agenda and approved the Dec. 2, 2025 minutes; both actions were recorded as approved 4–0. Fire Marshal Mink presented 2025 statistics for incidents and permit inspections during the reports section. The transcript records that the Sheriff’s Department had no representative present and that Central Lyon County Parks and Recreation and Public Works had no items to report.
The board set its next regular meeting for Feb. 3, 2026 and adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
