Select Board approves appointments, reappointments and $800 award to Drama Club

Julie McAdoo moved to add Vanessa VanHoogan and Raffaella Giangregorio to the Anniversary Fund; Kari Dugas seconded and the board approved the additions. McAdoo also presented and the board approved an $800 award to the Drama Club; the town treasurer was reported to be in agreement with the award.
The board reappointed Bill Torphy to the Conservation Advisory Committee for a three-year term. The board appointed Steve Andersen, Gary Scholl and Russell Wilson as alternates to the Zoning Board of Adjustment for three-year terms; Gail Cromwell expressed a preference that ZBA members be neutral on commercial enterprise matters and suggested appointing only Gary Scholl, but the full board appointed all three alternates after discussion.
Other reappointments and appointments approved included Jen Rheaume as Animal Control Officer (three-year term), Kathy Boot to the Heritage District Commission (three-year term), Elicia Gettings to the Recreation Department (three-year term), Dan Cournoyer to the Town Hall commission (three-year term), Robert Schubert to the HDC (three-year term), Cathy Joly as Library Alternate (one-year term), and Christine Robidoux as Planning Board Alternate (one-year term). All motions recorded in the minutes were approved by the board.
