During new business Ray Davis provided township staff with a list of six properties for further review: 3500 Green St., 3514 Green St., 214 Montrose St., 3335 Green St., 3511 Green St., and 3408 Green St. Commissioners asked staff how the commission can distribute an informational flyer to township residents, including whether the flyer could be added to tax bills, and inquired about the enforcement "teeth" of the Shade Tree Ordinance. Members also asked whether the commission has the authority to proactively plant trees in the tree lawn of properties that have not complied with replanting requirements; no formal decision was recorded on those procedural or enforcement questions.
