Selectmen approve $2,500 GALE study to assess Grand Hill Road repairs

The Mont Vernon Board of Selectmen voted unanimously on June 1 to accept a $2,500 proposal from GALE Associates to carry out an engineering assessment and cost analysis of Grand Hill Road.
Joan Cleary presented the proposal. Selectman Mike Fimbel moved to accept GALE Associates' proposal; Selectman Tom Driscoll seconded the motion. The board voted "all in favor," approving the contract to proceed with the detailed assessment.
The study is intended to provide the town with an engineering evaluation and cost estimate to guide repair decisions for Grand Hill Road. The Selectmen also noted upcoming training and informational events, including an NH Municipal Association legislative wrap-up Zoom on June 25 and an NRPC code enforcement seminar on June 16 that Selectman Fimbel and the Building Inspector plan to attend.
