On July 7 the Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved multiple payroll changes presented by Human Resources Director Beth Deardorff.
The board approved a wage increase for Madison Feller, Real Estate & Elections Clerk in the Auditor’s Office from $25.14 to $25.76 per hour, effective July 14, 2026. The board approved promotion of Renee Moorehead from Motor Vehicle Supervisor to Motor Vehicle Operations Manager at $35.50 per hour (effective July 14, 2026) and authorized recruitment to fill the resulting Motor Vehicle Supervisor opening with a range of $30.61–$33.79 per hour. The board also approved a salary change for Audra Ledbetter in the County Attorney’s office from $95,888 to $106,891.20 annually. Finally, the board approved hiring McKenzie Herrmann as a dispatcher for the Sheriff’s Office at $30.50 per hour with a start date of July 21, 2026.
Motions to approve were made by Supervisor Kim Chapman and seconded by Supervisor Brad Golightly; votes were recorded as all ayes. The personnel actions were routine administrative approvals and no additional recruitment details were provided in the meeting.
