Commission approves several hires and holds executive sessions to discuss IT director candidate

The Coffey County Commission approved several payroll notices during its June 8 meeting. Commissioner Wayde Thomsen moved to approve a payroll notice for Gracy Smith as a District Court intern (Wage Classification 5-1, $15.96/hour, effective 06/01/2026); Commissioner Steve McCurry seconded and the motion passed.
