The Kennebunk Select Board approved on May 26 proposed updates to the Town’s Personnel Policy and Employee Handbook, an annual review intended to ensure legal compliance, reflect current practices, and further inclusive workplace efforts.
Human Resources Director Jeri Sheldon summarized the changes and responded to a question from Select Board member Kevin Therrien about overtime and Family Medical Leave. Sheldon thanked the Town’s Employee Working Group for their contributions to the revisions.
The board adopted the revisions by motion of Lisa Pratt, seconded by Karen Plattes, following a positive recommendation from the Finance Subcommittee.
