Roxbury Council approves contracts, easement for Landing and routine resolutions in unanimous vote

The Roxbury Township Council on June 9 adopted Resolution 2026-134, which incorporated and approved a package of resolutions (2026-135 through 2026-146) by a unanimous roll-call vote.
The batch of adopted measures included: acceptance of gifts for the Memorial Day parade and the Beach Blast fireworks display; contract awards for town-wide crack sealing (Micro Pave Systems, Inc., not to exceed $70,000) and line striping (Denville Line Painting, Inc., not to exceed $32,000); a contract for stormwater upgrades (Campbell Foundry Company, not to exceed $71,800); procurement of thirty E-One Extreme Series grinder pump units with conversion kits (Site Specific Design, Inc., total not to exceed $80,520); and a contract for tree removal in township open space (Tree King, Inc., not to exceed $35,000). Chief Financial Officer certifications accompanying the resolutions identify the funding accounts and capital ordinance sources.
The council also adopted Resolution 2026-142, accepting and authorizing execution of a sanitary sewer easement for 617 Vail Road East (Block 12002 Lot 20) required for the township’s low-head pressure sanitary sewer system in the Landing section. The clerk was directed to record the executed easement with the Morris County Clerk’s Office.
Other routine items adopted in the package included the release of performance guarantees for right-of-way excavation permits, departmental salary authorizations and the authorization for payment of bills (check register totals recorded in the minutes). All motions and roll-call votes recorded in the minutes were unanimous unless otherwise noted.
Several resolutions included specific dollar amounts and CFO certifications; those amounts and account charges are recorded in the meeting minutes and in the separate certification documents attached to each resolution.
