The Roxbury Township Council voted 7-0 on June 9 to adopt Ordinance No. 13-26, which amends Chapter II of the Township Administrative Code to update the personnel classification schedule and pay plan. The ordinance establishes pay grades and ranges for multiple job titles — for example, Grade 8 pay ranges up to $125,000 and Grade 10 ranges to $210,000 — and supplements part-time and unclassified pay schedules.
Following the ordinance’s adoption the council approved Resolution 2026-144, which sets specific 2026 salaries and compensation in accordance with Ordinance 13-26. The resolution lists amounts for numerous positions (for example, Township Manager listed at $206,025; Township Clerk $108,332; Certified Municipal Finance Officer $132,193) and states the resolution takes effect after publication and the 20-day statutory period for the ordinance. The resolution also notes that one compensation item (Assistant to the Township Manager) was removed from the Public Works Director salary and listed separately in a revision.
Council members opened the ordinance to the public and closed the hearing with no public comments before adopting the measure by roll call. The minutes show the ordinance takes effect on final passage, approval and publication; most listed salaries are effective January 1, 2026 unless otherwise noted.
The ordinance and resolution concern municipal pay administration; no changes to union-negotiated pay were reported, and the ordinance states its provisions prevail except when superseded by collective bargaining agreements.
