Summary
MFM Bedford LLC asked the Bedford Planning Commission to replat Lot 1 of Stone City Properties (about 6.72 acres) into three parcels at the site of an existing Culver's and Del Taco; the commission voted to move the preliminary replat to a public hearing in August for more detailed review.

At its July 14 meeting, the Bedford Planning Commission agreed to schedule a public hearing next month on a preliminary replat submitted by MFM Bedford LLC for Lot 1 of Stone City Properties, a roughly 6.72-acre site along John Williams Boulevard that contains a Culver's and a Del Taco.
The applicant representative, speaking by Zoom, said the proposal would divide the existing parcel into three lots to separate the Culver's and the Del Taco from a remaining larger parcel. "The Culver's parking lot actually extends onto the larger piece," the applicant representative said, adding that the intent is to delineate parcels for the two restaurants and preserve a third parcel.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the proposed boundaries and parking encroachments. After discussion, a motion (mover: Committee member Speaker 4) to move the item to a public hearing at the commission's August meeting carried on a voice vote. No formal conditions were imposed at the July preliminary hearing; commissioners said any stipulations, such as parking easements or access requirements, could be considered at the public hearing when more detailed plans and staff reports are available.
The commission did not record a roll-call vote; the motion passed by voice. The replat will return to the commission at the scheduled public hearing, where residents, property owners and the applicant may present evidence and testimony.
