Mayor Skinner calls Buckhannon special session; council holds executive session under WV Code § 6-9A-4

Mayor Robbie Skinner called a special session of the Buckhannon City Council to order at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Public Safety Complex Training Room and led a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance.

The council moved into an executive session at 4:01 p.m. under West Virginia Code § 6-9A-4 to discuss personnel and property matters after a motion by Councilmember David Thomas, seconded by Councilmember Jack Reger; the record notes the motion carried. City officials present included City Recorder Randall H. "Randy" Sanders; Councilmembers Pam Bucklew, David McCauley, Jack Reger, Robert Zuliani and David Thomas; Assistant Recorder and Director of Finance Amberle Jenkins; City Attorney Tom O'Neill; and representatives of the Buckhannon Fire Department and Buckhannon Volunteer Fire Department.

The minutes record the council leaving the executive session at 5:34 p.m., again on a motion by Thomas seconded by Reger; Mayor Skinner stated that no decisions were made during the executive session.
