Dr. Kietrich, who the chair called on to explain the staffing moves, said the changes were made quickly to avoid disruption. "I just feel like these alignments, things happen so quickly, and I had to make some appointments prior to the board meeting," Dr. Kietrich said, asking the board to accept the appointments retroactively so athletic activities could continue.
