Castleford trustees approve consent agenda and adopt Policy 9400; Policy 1300 moved back to two readings

Chair Rae Ann Bower called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Trustee Will Jaynes moved to approve the consent agenda; Trustee Brian Darrow seconded the motion and it carried. The consent materials included the board bill lists, payroll summaries and related routine items recorded in the meeting packet.
Trustee Kim Taylor moved that Policy 1300 be adopted and returned to two readings; Trustee Will Jaynes seconded the motion and it carried. Later in the meeting Trustee Kim Taylor moved to adopt Policy 9400; Trustee Will Jaynes seconded and the motion carried. The minutes record that the motions were approved but do not provide a roll-call vote or an individual vote tally.
Superintendent Dena Allred presented correspondence from the State Department of Transportation that was entered into the record. Principal Charles Day delivered the principal’s report on enrollment and Istation results during the meeting’s reports section.
The board adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
