At its Jan. 20 meeting the Spring Lake Heights Borough Council approved routine permits and personnel confirmations and completed the bills list for payment.
The consent agenda (R2026-38 through R2026-41) included approval of an outdoor-music permit for The Mill Lakeside Manor (Feb. 1–May 31, 2026), use of the Bicentennial Park tennis courts by Spring Lake Heights Elementary School, authorization for the SLH Police Department to participate in the Defense Logistics Agency LESO Program, and confirmation of Dennis Wilcox as a school crossing guard. The consent agenda passed on a single motion by roll call vote.
Council then confirmed Christopher Willms as Fire Official by Resolution R2026-42.
Finally, the council approved Resolution R2026-46 authorizing payment of the itemized January 16, 2026 bills list; the motion recorded an abstention by Councilman John Casagrande and otherwise passed.
Resolution R2026-43 (confirming a part-time backup code/zoning official) had been removed from the agenda earlier in the meeting and was not considered.
