Board authorizes Ward Edwards contract negotiation and approves personnel ratification
Summary

Colonel Guyer moved that the superintendent be authorized to issue an award to Ward Edwards, Inc. for professional civil site design services and to negotiate and execute the contract upon successful terms. The motion was seconded and carried; the board authorized the superintendent to complete negotiations and sign the contract.
The board also approved the superintendent’s personnel ratification report for Oct. 1–Oct. 31, 2024 and the monthly adult education report for Nov. 1, 2024. Meeting minutes recorded the personnel and adult education votes as carried with the same attendance notations used elsewhere in the session (the chair noted one member absent from those particular votes). No further action was announced publicly in this meeting on the executive session topics.
