Marty said he and staff would include language allowing officers to test devices as part of the contract process. "Each one of our officers has asked if that would be a possibility," he said; trustees signaled they could make that part of the motion language.
Trustees noted the cost will be handled through capital outlay funds and the purchase will be brought forward as a budgeted item. The board approved the motion by voice vote.
