The Caldwell Unified School District No. 360 Board of Education voted 6-0 on Aug. 11 to approve the district's proposed 2025–26 budget for publication. The motion to approve came from board member Gage Overall and was seconded by board member Kordell Kattenberg.
Superintendent Traci Becker reviewed the proposed budget before the vote. The board's approval clears the way for the district to publish the proposed budget and hold a public hearing; the board scheduled a budget hearing for Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at 6:20 p.m. The approval in this meeting was for publication, not final adoption of the budget.
Board President Darren McDorman and other members did not request additional amendments during the meeting; the district will present the published document and take public comment at the scheduled hearing before any final adoption. The regular board meeting following the hearing is set for 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2025.
