Athletic participation updated; Patterson Family Foundation grant discussion tabled

Athletic Director Lane Patmon presented participation numbers for junior high and high school teams and asked for volunteer support for game operations and Homecoming events.
Patmon reported the following participation counts: JH Football — 10 (7 Brewster students, 3 from Triplains); JH Volleyball — 16 (9 Brewster, 7 Triplains); JH Cheer — 13 (8 Brewster, 5 Triplains); HS Football — 11 (7 Brewster, 4 Triplains); HS Volleyball — 8 (4 Brewster, 4 Triplains); HS Cheer — 6 (3 Brewster, 3 Triplains). He also previewed Homecoming activities including a sophomores’ meal, a bonfire and a jersey auction.
A presented Patterson Family Foundation grant was tabled for further consideration at the October regular board meeting; an updated grant project list discussion was also tabled and board members were asked to rank their top three priorities before October.
