CANEY, Kan. — The City of Caney Council on March 3 approved routine financial items, adopted two resolutions and postponed a Ward 2 appointment until April.
The council approved the consent agenda — including the Feb. 17 meeting minutes, vendor expenses listed at $80,954.50 and payroll of $42,253.94 — on a motion by Councilperson Lori Patterson, seconded by Councilperson Lisa Gorby. The motion passed 5-0.
Council also authorized a $966.70 repair to a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado (alternator assembly, throttle body assembly, seats, steering wheel) on a motion by Patterson, seconded by Kenith Butts; that motion passed 5-0.
