"Since the commissioners are the applicant, they will hold the contract with the engineering firm, Wessler," he said. The preliminary services include hydraulics and a preliminary engineering report.
Commissioners moved and approved both the application-authority designation and the Wessler contract during the same session. The contract cost for the preliminary services was stated as $24,000.
The project is intended to support growth in the Westgate area; the board did not set a construction schedule during the meeting.
