- Ordinance No. 1117 (item c): levied assessments to abate refuse on roughly 60 properties with a 10-day compliance window; approved on roll call.

- Middle-mile KDOT agreement (broadband): commission expressed the city's interest in facilitating right-of-way access for KDOT's middle-mile fiber project; motion approved. Staff said route attachments had not yet been provided and will be requested.
- Police body-worn cameras: approved purchase of 40 Motorola V700-series cameras, associated hardware and five-year licensing/maintenance for $95,506.40, funded by public-safety sales tax.
- Adoption of model codes: the commission adopted a package of updated codes (2024 International Plumbing, Fire, Mechanical, Property Maintenance, Swimming Pool and Spa, Existing Building, International Building/Residential codes and the 2026 National Electric Code) with local amendments preserved. Staff explained the city was four code cycles behind and that adopting the current editions allows the city to update local enforcement and to place one copy of each code in the city clerk's office for public review.
- Miscellaneous: the commission authorized code-related ordinances (including an ordinance formalizing long-standing city inspections when utilities have been disconnected), and approved related permits and administrative items included on the agenda.
