The Pulaski Town Council unanimously approved a resolution proclaiming the first week of May as Small Business Week and adopted the April 7, 2026 meeting minutes during its May 5 meeting.
Council read Resolution 2026-16, which recognized the contributions of small businesses across sectors and encouraged residents to ‘‘shop local, dine local and support the small businesses’’ of Pulaski. A motion was made and the council adopted the resolution by recorded roll call; no dissenting votes were recorded.
Later in the meeting the council approved its April 7 meeting minutes as part of the consent agenda by recorded vote; the minutes were adopted without amendment.
Both items were procedural, non-controversial and carried by unanimous vote. The town will implement the resolution upon adoption and encouraged local businesses and residents to participate in Small Business Week events and promotions.
