The Narrows Town Council voted on Jan. 12 to amend its executive session agenda to include discussion of the bank building under the real property exemption (Va. Code 2.2-3711(A)(3)) and to discuss employee benefits under the personnel exemption (A)(1). The council then entered executive session by motion and majority vote.
After the closed session the council reentered open session, called for a certification that the matters discussed were those listed on the agenda, and the certification motion carried on a roll-call vote. The meeting then adjourned.
No substantive decisions were reported in open session beyond the certification and adjournment; the council recorded votes to amend the agenda, enter executive session, and certify the closed-session topics.
