The board said these priorities align with broader School Administrators of Iowa (SAI) positions.
Board members and administration framed the priorities as advocacy items intended to guide district lobbying and communication with state lawmakers during the coming legislative session. The motion passed 4-0.
The board indicated it would communicate these priorities through its usual legislative channels and coordinate with SAI on common messaging.
The board adjourned after approving other agenda items; the next regular meeting is set for Oct. 13, 2025.
