Stamping Ground City Commission approves previous minutes, holds executive session and adjourns

The Stamping Ground City Commission met Nov. 25, 2025, and unanimously approved its Nov. 8 and Nov. 14 minutes after noting requested corrections, Mayor Jennifer Jones said.
The commission voted 5–0 to approve the Nov. 8 minutes on a motion by Commissioner Cody Meadows, seconded by Commissioner Ken Koger, and later voted 5–0 to approve the Nov. 14 minutes on a motion by Commissioner Koger, seconded by Mayor Jones.
Mayor Jones moved the commission into an executive session under KRS 61.810(1)(f) “on discussions which might lead to the appointment [of] an individual employee,” a motion seconded by Commissioner Dale Perry and approved 5–0. The body later voted 5–0 to end the executive session on a motion by Commissioner Koger, seconded by Commissioner Meadows. According to the minutes, no action resulted from the executive session.
Before adjourning, Commissioner Cody Meadows requested a review of the six-month budget; commissioners agreed to that review. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Meadows, seconded by Commissioner Koger, with a recorded vote of 5–0.
The next scheduled meeting to approve these minutes is Dec. 11, 2025, according to the clerk’s notes.
