Policies cited for first reading included BBA (board officers), a code-of-ethics policy, updates to professional personal leaves and absences (GBRH/GDBH wording in transcript), and IFBG Internet Acceptable Use. She also noted an accompanying procedure, IFBGR2, focusing specifically on artificial intelligence and internet acceptable use. Dr. Truett said items marked in red in the draft are new additions and struck text indicates deletions.
Dr. Truett said the policies and procedures will be publicly available for review tomorrow and will be placed on the August agenda for final approval following the 30‑day comment period. No final votes on these policies were taken at the meeting; the board completed first readings and directed public posting.
