Roxbury to seek NJDOT Municipal Aid grant to resurface Berkshire Valley Road

By Resolution 2026-172 the council approved the Engineering Department's recommendation to submit the PMRS application (MA-2027 Berkshire Valley Road Resurfacing Pr-00115) and authorized the Township Manager and Township Clerk to take all necessary steps in the electronic grant process and to sign any resulting grant agreement on behalf of the township.
The resolution states the town's engineering staff deems the road segment eligible for Municipal Aid under the Transportation Trust Fund Authority Act and authorizes municipal officials to accept the grant terms and execute the agreement should the application be approved.
