Board tables two personnel policies, continues review of 4000-series policies

Superintendent Dr. Christopher Prososki led board members through the second half of the district's 4000-series policies at the Feb. 12 work session and identified two policies for further consideration.
The board discussed the policies and agreed to table Policy 4032 (Professional Growth) and Policy 4041 (Staff Dress and Appearance) for additional discussion; no action was taken on those two items during the work session. Prososki and Director Kristen Slechta reviewed the remainder of the series and indicated the items would return for consideration at the regular meeting.
Board members asked clarifying questions during the review; the work session served to flag policy language needing more discussion rather than to adopt changes.
