The City Commission of the City of Auburndale recorded unanimous votes on four items at its July 6 meeting.
• Approval of June 15, 2026 minutes — Motion by Vice Mayor Jordan Helms, seconded by Commissioner Travis Avery; vote: all ayes.
• Amendment to Developer’s Agreement with BSC Florida Investments Corp. — Motion by Commissioner Crystal Tijerina, seconded by Commissioner Travis Avery; vote: all ayes. Amendment permits construction/permitting while prohibiting discharge until Phases I and II of the Southern Force Main reroute and treatment-plant expansion are operational.
• Appointment of voting delegate to Florida League of Cities annual conference (Aug. 13–15, 2026) — Motion by Vice Mayor Jordan Helms, seconded by Commissioner Crystal Tijerina; vote: all ayes. Mayor Alex Cam agreed to serve as the city’s voting delegate.
• Tentative approval of FY 2027 and FY 2028 revenue sections — Motion by Commissioner Travis Avery, seconded by Commissioner Crystal Tijerina; vote: all ayes.
All motions were recorded as unanimous 'all ayes' in the minutes. Commissioner Sean Levy was absent from the meeting.
