West Point Public Schools board approves agenda, excuses two members at retreat

The West Point Public Schools Board of Education convened its retreat at 6:00 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Woodcliff Restaurant. President Steve Blocher called the meeting to order and confirmed that Open Meetings Act notice was posted.
Steve Hughes moved to approve the meeting agenda and to excuse Board members Herb Hasenkamp and Eunice Ramirez; Holly Hunke seconded the motion. The motion carried with all four members present voting yea: President Steve Blocher, Board member Steve Hughes, Board member Holly Hunke and Vice President Eric Brockmann. Hasenkamp and Ramirez were recorded as absent.
The board then heard a presentation from Superintendent Weddle on several district planning topics before adjourning the retreat at 8:30 p.m.
