Commissioners and staff discussed options — additional paved staging areas on campus, swapping impervious surfaces, and negotiating more operational flexibility in the existing inter‑agency operating agreement with the school committee.
Commissioners said they were willing to advocate to the school committee where necessary to ensure BD can continue capital work and staging without losing essential operational capacity, and staff said they will continue to negotiate details with the school department as permits move forward.
