Palmyra students honored; student rep and data presentation flagged district activities

At the Oct. 8 meeting the Palmyra Board of Education recognized students of the month at Charles Street School and Palmyra Middle/High School and acknowledged Palmyra High School students receiving College Board National Recognition Program certificates. Named winners included Kendall Brant (Grade 4), Gabriel Moran (Grade 8), Brayan Santos Milhorelli (Grade 9) and Jisselle Martinez (Grade 12). Robyn Ivanisik is listed as delivering the NJSLA/ACCESS presentation (agenda item 5.03); the minutes do not include the presentation’s details. Student Representative Patrick Broadbelt reported on school activities including the new HS/MS schedule, Marching Band rankings (1st and 2nd place finishes noted), sports updates, Back-to-School Nights, picture day, clubs and the upcoming Homecoming football game.
The minutes also note numerous approved extracurricular fundraisers, tournaments and field trips for the 2025–2026 school year, and a forthcoming district report card and community survey referenced by the Strategic Planning committee.
