Alan, speaking for staff, said the packet includes an acceptance form that requires the mayor's signature so the state can move forward with awarding the funds. Councilmember Schaeffer moved to accept the grant and authorize the mayor to enter into the grant agreement; the motion passed by roll call.
Council asked about the city's financing obligation. Staff said the city’s share would likely come from ramp fee revenues and that staff will provide the remaining grant paperwork and any follow‑up details once the state completes its award process.
