West Point Public Schools board approves agenda and consent items, excuses two members

President Steve Blocher called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Board member Holly Hunke moved to approve the agenda; Steve Hughes seconded and the motion carried with Blocher, Herb Hasenkamp, Hughes and Hunke voting yea and Eric Brockmann and Eunice Ramirez recorded as absent. Later, Herb Hasenkamp moved to approve the consent agenda and to excuse Brockmann and Ramirez; Hunke seconded and the motion likewise carried 4–0.
The meeting record lists votes individually for both motions: Steve Blocher — yea; Herb Hasenkamp — yea; Steve Hughes — yea; Holly Hunke — yea; Eric Brockmann — absent; Eunice Ramirez — absent. No amendments or formal recusals were recorded.
The board adjourned at 7:14 p.m. and scheduled its next regular meeting for Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
