A board member moved to accept the 2026 operating plan levy; the motion was seconded and the board voted by roll call. The chair announced that "the ayes have it" and the motion passed. The board then approved the listing of commercial properties and associated levy assignments for the BID.
Later in the meeting the board considered whether to authorize release of the full 2026 levy funds to Mineral Main Street in February 2026 (rather than making incremental payments). The chair moved to authorize the full February disbursement; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. Staff indicated the mayor makes final appointments and that the board will forward recommendations to the mayor and the common council as appropriate.
