BPAC approves annual plan, plans spring events and readies grant applications

Staff reported grants work: an AARP grant application has been submitted; the T-Mobile Hometown grant application (proposed to fund greenway signage and placemaking illustrations) is being prepared and due March 31. Members asked about the status of an NCDOT study; staff said there was no update.
On events logistics, staff and members agreed the Dogwood Festival (April 25) will include a BPAC booth with a whiteboard or QR-code station to solicit design ideas and will use a Google-form or photo-submission process to verify MeBane activity-challenge entries and distribute prizes. Staff requested materials by mid-April to allow printing and lamination.
