During the May 20 meeting, public commenters raised maintenance concerns and equipment needs.
Bart Lammers and Teal Gibson asked the commissioners to address mowing of public parks, tree removal and stump grinding. Ray Hageman brought paperwork requesting new equipment and said county personnel sent to fight fires would return on Saturday.
The board recorded these statements during the public comment portion of the posted agenda. Later in the afternoon, Extension Office staff member Teo Sinks informed the commissioners she will begin maternity leave soon and described preparations made for coverage during her absence.
